Cardi B has spoken out about her uncle’s deportation, hinting at the situation in a recent Instagram video without providing specific details.
The Grammy-winning rapper mentioned her uncle’s deportation while venting about President Donald Trump’s presence at the 2025 Super Bowl, which she said caused her significant inconvenience.
Expressing her frustration, Cardi B recalled the heightened security due to Trump’s attendance at the event in New Orleans.

“Yo, I was too fucking mad today because, you know, Donald Trump and shit,” she ranted in the video. “He was at the Super Bowl today, and they was giving us a hard time. Oh my gosh. The Secret Service was not playing at that motherfucker. The Secret Service was not playing to get in that motherfuckin’ stadium. Oh my god.”
She then tied her frustration to her uncle’s deportation, saying, “This shoe cost me three bands. All ‘cause of Trump. Now I like him lesser. Now I like him lesser because you didn’t have to go to no damn Super Bowl. Fucking up my shoe. … Now he’s gonna have to, well, he definitely ain’t gon’ do that, bring my uncle… back because my uncle got deported.”
Cardi B did not elaborate on the circumstances of her uncle’s deportation or share further details about her Super Bowl experience.
Meanwhile, since taking office in January, Trump has signed multiple executive orders targeting immigration.
According to statistics by the Associated Press, daily immigration arrests have increased significantly compared to the previous Biden administration. NBC News also reported that ICE carried out nearly 1,200 arrests in a single day last month.
