Children of African leaders who’ve gotten into serious trouble with the law

Gamal and Alaa Mubarak

The sons of Egypt’s former dictator, Hosni Mubarak were also accused of misusing public funds.

Alaa and Gamal Mubarak were sentenced to three years in prison and ordered to repay $6,995,002.50.

The pair were released for time served for the Arab Spring rebellion which caused their father’s overthrow.
