Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a YouTuber from Houston who they allege fled the country after kidnapping two women in November. According to the criminal complaint acquired by People, authorities said that on November 23, after the women went bowling with Corey Pritchett Jr. in Houston, he abducted them.
As per the allegation, the 26-year-old took the women to the bowling center after inviting them to ride ATVs. The women said two of Pritchett’s friends joined them and then started to “act suspicious by constantly looking around.” The report claims that Pritchett informed the women that there was a rival group at the bowling alley.
He later volunteered to drop the women off at one of their homes, but the complaint states that while he was driving them, he started threatening them with a gun.
He allegedly called an anonymous woman, whose name was saved as “Future Wife” on his phone, and asked her if he “should just go ahead and do it,” according to the complaint. On the phone, the woman said “yes,” the alleged victims informed authorities. He allegedly said that “no one could ever find them” and that no one would be able to hear the two women scream, the complaint states.
During the drive, Pritchett allegedly told the women, “I’m gonna f— yall and kill yall.” He allegedly took away the women’s phones and, at one point, shot his gun several times out his window, per the complaint.
He allegedly pulled over the car after passing a Sealy restaurant and told the women to get out, saying it would be their final chance, according to the complaint.
According to court records, the women stepped out, flagged down another car, and then called 9-1-1, per the Houston Public Media.
According to the complaint, investigators were unable to contact him and discovered through his social media accounts that he had traveled to Dubai. However, the FBI stated that he purchased a one-way ticket to Qatar in December. How he went from Qatar to Dubai, in the nearby United Arab Emirates, remains unknown.
Harris County court records show that Pritchett is currently facing two counts of aggravated kidnapping.
With 3.9 million subscribers, the YouTuber chronicles his life as a musician on his channel. He recently wrote about how much he loved living in Dubai and his attempts to purchase a home there. On Tuesday, though, two Instagram sites that were connected to his YouTube account were unavailable.
When People reached out to him for comments, he did not immediately answer. Nonetheless, on his Twitter and TikTok accounts, he published many videos alleging he had been “set up.”
Additionally, he uploaded pictures claiming to be returning to the United States, but it was unclear whether he had actually reached the country.
When contacted, Houston police were unable to verify his present whereabouts or condition.
