Controversial rapper Kanye West, now Ye, released a controversial song titled ‘COUSIN’ on April 21, admitting to inappropriate behavior with his younger male cousin during their childhood.

The track details Ye finding explicit magazines in his mother’s closet and reenacting what he saw with his cousin. The confession has sparked outrage and debate about how the rapper went about the shocking revelation.

In a post on X, Ye explained that ‘COUSIN’ is inspired by his cousin, who is serving a life sentence for murdering a pregnant woman.

He reflected on their childhood, suggesting that showing his cousin those magazines at age six may have influenced his later actions.

Ye noted the magazines differed from those his father owned, implying their explicit content left a lasting impact. He expressed guilt, questioning if his actions contributed to his cousin’s path.

Ye also announced on X that he’s renaming his upcoming album ‘CUCK,’ a term referring to a man who allows others to be intimate with his partner while watching.

The decision has divided fans, with some calling it provocative and others labeling it a publicity stunt.

In another post, Ye addressed a past dispute with JAY-Z over a verse on the 2021 album Donda.

He criticized JAY-Z’s lyrics, which referenced Ye’s support for a controversial political figure, and suggested the lines were part of a larger agenda against him.
