Swahili Fashion Week
Held in Tanzania, the Swahili Fashion Week started in 2008 to provide a platform for designers from Swahili-speaking countries to showcase their work. It aims at making fashion an income generating activity and at the same time promote made in Africa products.
Aside from the fashion show, it also includes forums and an award ceremony for some of the best designers.
