Streets are blocked, stars are arriving, and nominees are anxious as Los Angeles gears up for the BET Awards this evening. For the first time ever, an African focus media, Face2face Africa, is in the midst of it all.
Festivities kicked off on Friday with the social media room as nominees and performers stopped by to talk to us about their nomination, how excited they are, and what they are looking forward to the most. Representing Africa this year are D'Banj, 2-Face, D-Black, Teargas, and Fally Ipupa who were all nominees of the Best International Act: Africa category.
Our nominees are as excited as ever as they get ready to walk the red carpet this afternoon. Face2face Africa will be on the red carpet talking to our nominees as they make their grand entrance.
