The kofia is a cylindrical cap with an even crown and pinholes, worn by men in Eastern Africa; mostly by Swahili speaking persons.  In Somali, it is referred to as the koofiyad.  It can be paired with a dashiki or Kitenge – a type of colorful shirt.
