On May 30, 2023, Josh Hart made headlines after one of his tweets went viral. It read: “Have y’all ever tasted y’all’s significant other’s breast milk? Asking for a friend.”
His post attracted mixed reactions, with some of his fans, including his teammates, ridiculing him. Jalen Brunson responded, “Nah bro no BS delete my number.”
Hart never deleted the post. This month, he was invited by Frida Mom to try its latest product: breast milk ice cream.
“I’m not going to lie, it hits,” Hart said after trying the breast milk ice cream at its New York pop-up location. “It hits different. Super sweet, kind of like vanilla with a little bit of saltiness to it. It’s very accurate in terms of flavor of breast milk … It’s actually very fine.”
“NGL it hits…It’s very accurate…I hope my wife’s not mad at me…”

Frida, a parent product company, teamed up with OddFellows ice cream company to create its own “Breast Milk Ice Cream” without including actual breast milk.
The limited-edition flavor, available nationwide through August 10, seeks to mimic real breast milk using cow’s milk ingredients and bovine colostrum powder.
“The flavor is freshly expressed and oddly familiar – sweet, salty, and smooth – with hints of honey,” Frida said. The creation is “packed with similar nutrients to breast milk and formula,” including Omega-3s, lactose, protein, vitamins, and minerals, the company added.
Nationwide shipping is available on the Frida website until August 10 and can be sampled in person at an OddFellows pop-up location in Brooklyn, New York.
Hart urged fans to try the new product. “Make sure you guys get up, go get one. When y’all do that, make sure y’all tweet at me and let me know that y’all like it, because y’all were killing me in the comments and in the mentions that I was tripping, I was bugging, I was all that,” he shared his positive review in a collaborative Instagram post made alongside Frida and OddFellows.
His post has since gone viral, with some fans lining up to try the ice cream.
Hart started his career with the Los Angeles Lakers. In the 2017 NBA Draft, he was drafted in the first round by the Utah Jazz before being traded to the Lakers. He also played for the New Orleans Pelicans before being traded to the Trail Blazers.
Hart is entering his third full season with the Knicks after being traded from the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2022-23 regular season.
