Hope Botanical Garden and Zoo

For those who would want to wander away from the stress and pressures of Downtown Kingston, the Hope Botanical Garden and Zoo should be your one-stop place to relax.

Located in St Andres, Jamaica, it was established in 1655 when the British took over the country from the Spanish. As old as the city itself, the Hope Botanical Garden has a 200-acre park.

Home to many indigenous plants of Jamaica, patrons can find the Coconut Museum, The Amphitheater, Orchid House, and, of course, the zoo in the Hope Botanical Garden.
