Houston rap artist Frazier Othel Thompson III, aka Trae Tha Truth, is at peace after he located his daughter, who had been missing for over four months.
The 44-year-old artist told authorities that he last saw Truth, 6, last August 16 with her 36-year-old mother, Heather Cuevas. She had picked her up for visitation, which was intended to be a short one in the summer.
In a previous interview, the distraught father told KPRC2, “Right now, I don’t know where my baby laying her head, I don’t know what her mental is, I don’t know what she’s eating, I don’t know if she got clothes. I don’t even know whose house…I don’t know if she sleeping on the floor. The mother came to Houston and said she wanted to exercise her visiting, so I took her and dropped her off in Humble.”

He also expressed that it was difficult to reach Cuevas, noting, “The phones was disconnected or, at this point…she just vanished, so luckily man, somebody told me that they were spotted in LA and that’s how it started to where I left to go to LA looking for her.”
In a fortunate turn of circumstances, Trae Tha Truth took to Instagram with an emotional montage of videos showing him reconciling with the child at a U.S.-Mexico border office.
He shared his excitement in his caption, saying, “Never Let No One Tell You GOD Aint Real!!!! The First Day Of 2025 I Received A Call That I Couldn’t Believe… (THEY SAID SHE WAS FOUND) I Know GOD is the ONLY REASON I Held On when I wanted to Give Up…. I Had To Let Go And Trust Him, Tho it was Hard in these Last Past Months I was Completely Broken and Empty… I Learned To Have Faith….
“Tho i didn’t know where Truth Was , I Knew God Was Protecting Her so that was The Beginning Of My Understanding Faith…. I Have to let tha world Know GOD IS THE ONLY REASON IM REUNITED WIT MY TWIN AND HEART!! God put the Right People In Place, GOD Place the Right Eyes To See, GOD Put it on Peoples Heart To Assist And GOD Aligned Every Person That Prayed and Heard They Cry!! Thank You God!!”
He encouraged, “To Everyone Goin thru similar situations with their Children, Use Me As A Example That GOD Can Make Miracles and Shake Up Tha World!! DONT GIVE UP , Just Believe, Pray and Keep Faith!!! He Told Me No More Sad And Depressed Days, He Told Me To Celebrate and Smile, So i will Obey And Make This Year Bigger And Better Than Ever!!!! This will Be My Season!!”
