This snack is very, very common on the streets of Trinidad and Tobago. It is an open-faced sandwich made with flat fried bread (baras) and usually filled with curried channa or chickpea sauce. Sauces and toppings including coconut chutney, pepper sauce, sweet sauce, chandon beni sauce, or kuchela can be preferably added.
