Floyd Mayweather adds seven luxurious cars to his $20 million car collection

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is not new to luxurious lifestyles and spending big. In fact, it has defined his boxing career, earning him the nickname “Money man.” He has never shied away from flaunting his wealth on multiple social media platforms.

The 44-year-old has taken to social media to display his latest car collection. He shared a video of the seven new cars outside his $13 million mansion which he recently purchased. The video, which was shared on his Instagram page, shows the boxer’s driveway filled with seven white cars, including a Ferrari, Lamborghini, and two Rolls Royces.

Also seen in the fleet of cars displayed by the boxer include a Mayback, a Bentley, and a Range Rover. Mayweather captioned the video: “7 toys for all 7 days, 8 armed security for 24 hrs a day …why not?!”

After sharing the video, his followers were quick to comment, including some boxers. “The life of a champion,” UFC middleweight fighter Makhmud Muradov commented. WBC lightweight champion Devin Haney also posted: “All white just for Miami!”

Mayweather is arguably the best boxer in modern history. He has an enviable record in the world, fighting 50 times and winning on all occasions. His fight records have also catapulted him into one of the highest sports earners in the world.

Worth $450 million per projections by Celebrity Net Worth, Mayweather has made $1.1 billion in his total career earnings. He is also the fifth highest-paid athlete of all time. The other five are Michael Schumacher ($1 billion), Jack Nicklaus ($1.15 billion), Arnold Palmer ($1.35 billion), Tiger Woods ($1.65 billion), and Michael Jordan ($1.9 billion).

Mayweather retired from boxing after his mouthwatering bout with Conor McGregor. However, he recently came out of retirement to fight Youtuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul at the Hardrock Stadium in Miami in an exhibition match.

The 44-year-old and Logan fought in an eight-round bout, an event that went the full distance after Mayweather failed to knockout his novice opponent. The bout drew widespread criticism from boxing analysts because it was “unreal” but it was Mayweather who laughed all the way to the bank. The boxer boasted that he made $100 million from the “fake fight” at a press briefing when his protégé Gervonta Davis recently knocked out Mario Barrios to claim the WBA super lightweight title.

Mayweather became a professional boxer in 1996 after winning three national Golden Gloves and an Olympic bronze medal. He won his first championship as a super featherweight in 1998. Since then, he has not lost any bout.

In 2019, he was rated as the highest-paid athlete by Forbes. He reportedly brought in $915 million in the past 10 years, without any big sponsorship deal or paycheck from anyone. He also made $115 million more than any other athlete.
