Seychelles

In 1972, the Government and People of the Seychelles gifted the Aldabra tortoises to Queen Elizabeth. They now live at the ZSL London Zoo—and given they can live up to 250 years, are sure to outlive the Queen. The tortoises were given to the queen during a tour of the Seychelles.
