It appears NFL Legend Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson and his fiancée Sharelle Rosado are no longer a pair. Rosado on Saturday took to X to announce that she and the 46-year-old retired wide receiver had gone their separate ways.

“Chad and I are no longer together please stop tagging us,” the real estate broker and Selling Tampa alum wrote. “He is a free man ladies.” Rosado, 37, also shared the news of their separation on Instagram, PEOPLE reported.

After she made the announcement, Johnson, who shares a 2-year-old daughter with Rosado, quoted her post with a meme from a movie showing a man walking and looking dejected. The news of their separation comes after the pair got engaged at Johnson’s early birthday party on January 7, 2023.

“I’m honestly shocked!” Rosado told PEOPLE after Johnson popped the question. “I’m at a loss for words.” “This was absolutely beautiful and to see my family and friends here to celebrate our love, that really did it for me,” Rosado added.

She also said Johnson bending the knee and popping the question left her “very” surprised. “He is definitely not a planner, so for him to pull this off for me is so amazing,” the 37-year-old said. “Just the thought he put into this and having our family and friends here to witness says a lot.”

Rosado also said their engagement was “the next step of our beautiful journey together.” She explained that she became “so emotional because when we first started dating, he used to always tell me, ‘I’m going to make you my wife.'”

“Although in my heart I knew we were always meant to be, now that it’s official, it’s even more special than I could have ever dreamed,” she continued.
