It is always wonderful to see African Americans on a quest to trace their African ancestral roots. Not only is it a great acknowledgement of their affiliation with Africa, it is also refreshing to see their satisfaction upon the discovery of a very important part of their heritage. In many ways, knowing exactly where you come from complements the journey towards self-discovery.
