Increase election fees to block out youth
Increasing election fees is one sure way of blocking out young people or poor people from office. Cameroon has not been left behind in this. Recently, it saw the increase of application fees from CFA franc 5million ($8750) to CFA Franc 30million ($52460). This ensures Biya is among the people who would easily get into power, thanks to his wealth.
