Simone Biles, the Olympic gymnastics sensation, has sparked speculations among fans over the possibility of her expecting a baby with her husband Jonathan Owens. A photo posted on Instagram by Biles from the Packers’ game against the Giants on Monday got people to speculate over a possible baby on the way.
Though she indicated that she wants two children, she clarified that she’s not currently expecting. The couple, who tied the knot earlier this year, continue to capture attention both on and off the field.
On her Instagram stories Wednesday, Biles dismissed the rumors as completely false.
“I hate that I even have to address this, but please stop commenting on this photo or my Instagram in general about me being ‘pregnant,’” Biles wrote in the post. “I’m not pregnant.”
Sharing insights into her family plans in a Q&A, she expressed a desire for two children, while her husband said he was aiming for a football team, according to the New York Post.
She recounted how special her marriage to the footballer earlier this year has been the best experience in her love life. Biles described the ceremony as a dream as she reminisced about the atmosphere of love shared with her while walking down the aisle to marry the Green Bay Packers defensive back.
Biles triumphantly returned to gymnastics this year after facing the challenging “twisties” during the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. Overcoming the inexplicable loss of control in the air, she expressed gratitude for the opportunity to compete again, considering it a blessing.
“It honestly feels amazing to return to competition, I never thought I would compete again so this is a blessing,” she explained.
