Himba of Namibia

The Himba tribe has remained with their style of dressing due to the harsh climatic conditions in that part of Namibia. The condition makes it difficult to cover their chest so they prefer the usual skirts made out of calfskin.

In the Himba tribe,  jewelry and hairstyles indicate age and status in the community.
