Jonathan Majors, the former Marvel actor who was convicted of misdemeanor third-degree assault and second-degree harassment last December, is entering a new business venture.
Majors will make his first convention appearance at the Famous Monsters Fest in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, where he will sell autographs for $140 each and signed professional photos for $160, according to TMZ.
Majors will join celebrity figures like “Lord of the Rings” legend Andy Serkis, “Star Trek” actor George Takei, and “Halloween” alum Tyler Mane at the Famous Monsters Fest.
However, this convention appearance marks a sharp departure from Majors’ initial high-profile career, which took a downturn following his arrest and domestic violence trial.
Before being sentenced to a year-long domestic violence intervention program, Majors was an action star on the rise, securing villain roles in Marvel’s “Loki” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” and starring in “Creed III.” He was also Emmy-nominated for HBO’s “Lovecraft Country.”
However, his career declined rapidly after accusations of assaulting his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, who sued him for defamation, assault, and battery. Majors denies these allegations.
Majors’ career faced significant setbacks, including being written out of future Marvel projects, with Robert Downey Jr. returning to fill his spot in the “Avengers” franchise. His critically acclaimed film “Magazine Dreams” lost its distributor, Searchlight Pictures.
Despite these challenges, Majors has found personal happiness in his relationship with actress Meagan Good, and they frequently attend industry events together, indicating he is not ready to step away from the spotlight.
