Almost three weeks after he was hospitalized, Hollywood Star Jamie Foxx finally broke the silence on Instagram, thanking his fans for their love and support.
The actor wrote on his page, “Appreciate all the love!! Feeling blessed,” adding prayer hands, a heart emoji, and a fox.
His comment section was flooded with replies and comments from his fans, as well as some other stars. Foxx also thanked popular TV host and comedian, Nick Canon, for taking his place on his popular show Beat Shazam, during his absence. “Appreciate ya my boy @nickcanon,” the star wrote on Instagram “See u all soon.”
Foxx’s popular show Beat Shazam, was going into production just days before he was hospitalized according to TMZ. His daughter Corinne, who is the shows DJ will also step down to tend to her father’s health needs. TMZ reports that her position will be filled by Kelly Osburne.
According to sources, the 55-year-old remains in an Atlanta hospital after falling ill three weeks ago with an unknown medical emergency. On April 12, his daughter Corinne posted on Instagram to alert the public of her father’s medical condition. “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday.” She wrote on her family’s behalf.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.” The statement read. No specific details have been shared about his condition.
Following the incident, Nick Canon shared with the public that he has visited Foxx and reported that the Django star is doing so much better.
Apart from his show, Foxx was in the middle of filming his new Netflix movie Back in Action with co-star Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close before he fell ill, the Mirror reported. He was last seen on set on April 10. Meanwhile, a stunt double has since been hired to fill in for him while he recovers.
Insiders told CNN that the star is under observation by medical professionals, who are “still trying to figure out what exactly happened.”
