Nigerian music stars, Davido and Wizkid have once again demonstrated their relevance and the effect they have on the spread of Afrobeats.

This came to light once again after American rapper, Kanye West was caught on camera using the instrumental to Davido’s hit song ‘IF’ and Wizkid’s latest feature with Beyonce, Brown Skin Girl during his regular Sunday Service.

The rapper was seen in a blue sweatshirt moving his body and nodding while the choir sang their personal rendition to the rhythm of the hit songs. The video was captured early this week.

West, who is reportedly born again uses his Sunday Service to promote his new album, Jesus is King. Since his conversion, the “Jesus Walks” rapper continues to be creative with the use of his music, making it more relatable to people of the Christian faith.

Davido and Wizkid are not only the most commercially viable artistes on the continent, but they are also using their influence to expose the continent to the international industry.

Davido’s “IF” is one of his successful songs. It has also bagged a host of local and international awards.
