John Bunn was only 14 years old when he was convicted of murdering an off-duty Corrections Officer in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. At an exoneration hearing on Tuesday, Bunn shed uncontrollable tears and thanked the presiding Judge after he was officially cleared of his purported crime.
Well behaved during his time in prison, Bunn is reported to have stopped the attempted rape of a counsellor. Although he was paroled in 2009, he stopped at nothing to maintain and prove his innocence and it definitely paid off.
