Meek Mill Fires Back at 50 Cent’s Taunts in Heated Social Media Exchange

by Sandra Appiah, 7:26am May 18, 2024,
Sanusi Lamido, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, has been named among the 100 most influential people in 2011 by Time magazine. He makes the list along with folks like US Vice President Joe Biden, US First Lady Michelle Obama, talk show host Oprah Winferey, renowned economist Joseph Stiglitz, and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Rappers Meek Mill and 50 Cent have been at each other’s necks for a minute. Meek has responded to 50’s recent social media posts mocking his album sales.

50 Cent, who has been provoking Meek for months following rumors of an affair with Diddy, continued his campaign after Meek defended Diddy and his son, King Combs.

50 recently took to social media to criticize Meek’s album sales, stating that he should not be on vacation after selling only 6,000 copies of his last project.

He also posted a video of Meek and Diddy partying, commending Meek for standing by his man. This prompted Meek to respond with a since-deleted rant on X, formerly known as Twitter. He defended his album sales, stating that his last project sold 90,000 copies in the first week.

He also criticized 50 Cent for his behavior online, accusing him of enhancing people’s cases and laughing at Black people getting indicted. Meek expressed his disappointment with 50 Cent for responding to King Combs’ diss song Pick a Side.

He accused 50 Cent of picking on a young boy and leaving his friends and family behind. He also criticized 50 Cent for holding back the culture and warned of the potential consequences of their loose rap feud.

The exchange escalated after 50 Cent ridiculed King Combs and brought up the sexual assault allegations against the Bad Boy heir.

In response to Combs’ diss track, 50 Cent sarcastically expressed fear for his life and denied ever mentioning or posting anything about Diddy’s kids.

Meek Mill is considering getting Ghanaian citizenship

Meanwhile, Meek Mill has expressed his desire to acquire Ghanaian citizenship, amidst relentless cyberbullying over his sexuality.

The Philadelphia-born artist has been a target of online trolls, who have been unyielding in their mockery.

“I wanna get citizenship in Ghana!!! America made to tear black men down if you don’t follow orders!” Meek Mill said.
