Dr Adesh Ramsubhag – Trinidadian
Ramsubhag is a geneticist and senior lecturer in microbiology and plant pathology at the University of the West Indies. He is on the verge of making breakthrough discoveries in novel pharmaceuticals and new antibiotics. From his journey in the rural agricultural village in south Trinidad to now working as a top scientist, Ramshubhag urges that more emphasis should be given to scientific research in the region.
