Megan Thee Stallion has announced that she is officially opening her own Popeyes restaurant, the well-known American multinational chain of fried chicken fast food.

The rapper recently shared an Instagram video of herself at the construction site. The company, Popeyes, has not disclosed where Megan will develop her restaurants and how soon they will open.

That notwithstanding, the move is commendable as she continues to diversify her investments beyond music. Part of the text in her video read: “…I just visited my location while she’s still just bones. This is about to be Thee Littest Popeyes ever.”

When successful, Megan will join the list of celebrities who won a franchise in the fast-food business. Records indicate Megan had previously partnered with Popeyes to launch a Hotties Sauce brand.

“Teaming up with Popeyes is such a milestone in my journey and evolution as an entrepreneur…I’ve always been a fan of the brand, and I’m thrilled to bring my vision to life, especially with the Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce,” she stated at the time.

In March 2024, the Cobra composer Meghan announced her Hot Girl Summer Tour to travel through 31 cities. The trip, which took off May 14 in Minneapolis, ended in Washington, DC, on Jul 27, 2024. Award-winning artiste GloRilla was announced as a special guest.

The tour was a follow-up to the single HISS, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 2024.  Before this, she released Cobra, which came with a fascinating video, reaching over a million views in less than 24 hours after its premiere.

As of November 6, 2023, the visuals for Cobra had reached 4.3 million views on YouTube. It was her first single after parting ways with her record label, 1501 Certified Entertainment
