Usher Raymond III is officially a new dad and a #girldad at that. The singer could not hide his joy as he shared the news on his Instagram account with his followers. He welcomed his daughter with long-time girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea.

In a photo with his baby girl’s tiny adorable fingers wrapped around one of his fingers, he wrote: “We are feeling blessed and full of love with the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Sovereign Bo Raymond. “‘Isn’t She lovely'” by Stevie Wonder on repeat.”

This is the first child between the 41-year-old and Goicoechea but the star has two older sons, Naviyd, 11, and Usher V, 12 with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster.

Goicoechea is a vice president of A&R for Epic Records and her pregnancy, according to Usher, was a “bright spot amid the coronavirus pandemic.”

In an interview on “The Late Late Show With James Corden”, he said, “It’s been a tough time for everybody. So, I’m really excited to have this incredible news. This new arrival, I’m really anticipating it.”

Meanwhile, the pandemic is churning out more wins for Usher than some of us but we’re still rooting for him. He recently announced his Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which opens in July 2021.

“2020 has been extremely complicated — we’ve suppressed this anxiety and energy to do anything social,” Usher said while speaking with Rolling Stone. “So I’m really excited to be able to know that I”m in the process of putting together a show for Las Vegas.”

Congratulations, Usher!
