Rapper and actor Nick Cannon is rumored to be expecting his eighth child after he was spotted beaming at a gender reveal party with Bre Tiesi, according to TMZ. The expectant mother’s divorce from NFL player Johnny Manziel was recently finalized.

The party, which was reportedly held in Malibu on Sunday, was attended by the rumored couple’s family and friends. And photos of the event showed the 41-year-old and the expectant mother hugging and holding hands. Another photo also showed Cannon holding Tiesi’s baby bump.

The recent news comes about a month after Cannon’s five-month-old son Zen succumbed to cancer. The Drumline actor shared the deceased infant with model Alyssa Scott. And he was his 7th child.

And though Cannon welcomed four children with three different women in the space of a year, the 41-year-old explained he was having the kids on “on purpose” while he was hosting a show on Power 106 last July, Face2Face Africa reported.

In an interview with The Breakfast Club in December, he also explained why he doesn’t buy the idea of “ownership” in relationships.

“The idea that a man should have one woman … we should have anything … I have no ownership over this person. It’s about what exchange we can create together. So I’ve never really subscribed to that mentality. I don’t want ownership over anybody. I don’t have ownership over any of the mothers,” he said. “Every woman that I deal with or dealt with, they know how I feel.”

Cannon shares 10-year-old twins with singer and ex-wife Mariah Carey. He also has a three-year-old son with model Brittany Bell. In December last year, Cannon and Bell welcomed their second child – a girl. He then welcomed another set of twins with Abby De La Rosa on June 14 before Alyssa Scott gave birth to his seventh child, Zen, on June 23, Billboard reported.
