Nina Turner

Unless you have followed the campaign of Bernie Sanders, you would not know Nina Turner. Of the five women on this list, she is the least popular but quite possibly, the most fierce.

Her penchant to be unapologetic about her progressive politics means that she has stepped on toes and will continue to do so. But Turner understands the intricacies of politics, having been a state senator for some good time now.

Turner is on this list because Sanders is the frontrunner for the nomination. If Sanders does not even win the nomination, it is not out of the bounds of reason to speculate that another candidate might choose Turner in order to placate Sanders’ very capable kingmaking crowd.
