A viral video that was shared on TikTok showed a Frontier Airlines passenger claiming she was a “sovereign ruler” and “president of this whole goddamn country” after she got angry because a pilot had refused to turn back the plane for her to retrieve her forgotten phone, the New York Post reported.
The video in question was shared on the social media platform on Sunday, and the incident occurred during a flight from San Diego to Las Vegas. The unidentified woman is said to have gotten into a meltdown before the plane took off.
The passenger who recorded the bizarre incident said the lady got “crazy” after she forgot her phone at the gate area. “If I was white and in a suit, you would stop the f–king plane,” the woman was heard telling a flight attendant. “Laugh now, I am the president of this whole goddamn country. Watch see the f–king TV news.”

“Yes, I need to get off this plane and I’m gonna tell you straight up don’t you ever come against nobody because of their skin color again,” she said.
The woman also claimed she had been flying with Frontier Airlines for eight years, adding that the pilot had ample time to turn the plane. “You had enough time,” she was heard saying. “Don’t tell me you had enough to stop, tell the pilot to not go. You just released him from the bay. I saw it out the window. I know it was in my heart,” she said.
The woman later directed her anger at other passengers, telling them, “Keep laughing, watch what happens. You’ll be expired just like your battery on your watch.” She was also heard claiming that she was “an affirmed sovereign ruler here in the government” and owned “seven continents.”
It could not be established if the woman’s actions resulted in a delay of the flight or if she was allowed to stay on board.
