DJ Mustard and his ex-wife Chanel Thierry have finalized their divorce, with the award-winning producer getting to keep several luxury cars as well as homes after they reached the settlement.
Per TMZ, legal documents show that Mustard, born Dijon Isaiah McFarlane, will retain luxury cars including a 2022 Maybach Benz, a 2018 Lamborghini Aventador, a 2022 Cadillac Escalade, a 2022 Rolls-Royce Cullinan and a 2019 Lamborghini Urus.
The 34-year-old also gets to keep a 1960 Chevy Impala, four motorcycles, and Sea-Doo jet skis. Besides that, Mustard will retain a mansion in Chatsworth in addition to other homes in Simi Valley and Los Angeles. He will also continue to keep the rights to his music catalog.
The former couple share three children, and they dated for several years before they tied the knot in October 2020. But Mustard filed for divorce in May 2022.
Their divorce settlement will also see the pair having joint legal custody of their children. The legal documents show that Mustard has agreed to make monthly child support payments of over $24,500.
Chanel will also be walking away with some cash in the way of spousal support as the producer will give her $315,000 as a one-time buyout payment, TMZ reported. She will additionally receive $275,000 as a one-time equalization payment.
But that is not all. She also gets to keep a Tesla Model X and will retain her pajama and loungewear company, Sleepova.
Mustard and Chanel finalizing their separation add up to other high-profile celebrity divorce settlements this year. In January, Face2Face Africa reported that Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa had settled their divorce just a day after the Aquaman star’s ex-wife filed for the annulment of their marriage. According to ET, court documents revealed the pair had agreed to the terms of their separation after Bonet filed the papers on January 8.
In June, Face2Face Africa also reported that rapper Jeezy and Jeannie Mai had similarly finalized their divorce after a contentious case where the pair leveled allegations against each other after their split. According to TMZ, Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, and Mai also agreed to seal the terms of their settlement legally.
