Police have arrested a Louisiana woman who allegedly beat a man with a bat and left him lying in the street on Friday as two cars ran over his crumbled body moments later.
According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, 43-year-old Tonnisha Mitchell allegedly slammed 42-year-old Gene Hill in the head and body with a bat multiple times after they got into a heated confrontation in her car that went on to be addressed in an open street out around midnight.
The Sheriff’s office revealed witnesses told investigators that Hill was so badly beaten that he fell to the ground as Mitchell fled the scene.

Authorities added that the victim couldn’t get to his feet and was subsequently hit by the two passing cars, leading to his death.
Police stated that the Louisiana woman was arrested at her home and is accused of trying to destroy evidence at different spots in the area after the beating in addition to manslaughter charges.
Cops say it remains unclear what the relationship was between the suspect and the victim, but believe whatever they argued about must have been so dire to lead to Hill’s death.
Mitchell reportedly faces charges of manslaughter and second-degree battery and is being detained at Calcasieu Correctional Center.
