Singer and actress Tamar Braxton is appealing for prayers after she revealed that she “almost died” and woke up in a pool of blood over the weekend.

Braxton, 48, took to Instagram to share that the incident occurred on Sunday. “I struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can’t even really talk anymore,” the Love and War singer wrote.

Braxton then shared that she was “so weak.” “I almost died Sunday,” she disclosed. Braxton revealed that her friend found her “in a pool of blood” and with a “face injury.”

“As the days go by the worse it is,” she continued before mentioning the injuries she sustained. “I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility,” she stated with two broken heart emojis.

The 48-year-old also said that her outlook on life is “now totally different.” “As my health is on the mend, my mental journey begins…pray for me for real,” Braxton said before concluding by revealing that she didn’t even know what happened to her.

Braxton has suffered a few health setbacks in the past. In 2015, she announced she was quitting Dancing with the Stars after her pulmonary embolism diagnosis. The Let Me Know singer has also suffered mental health issues.
