Oprah Winfrey won the Cecil B. DeMille Award
Ms Winfrey’s moving speech at the ceremony recounted how in awe she was of watching the very same program as a young girl and the impact she believes her win has made on other young Africa-American young women. From suffering traumatic experiences as a child to becoming a global multi-billion-dollar media haven and the first Black woman to win the Cecil B. DeMille award, she exhibits and reiterates time and time again that being YOU and sharing your journey is an imperative factor in success. Oprah for president!!
