Shaquille O’Neal’s customized $180,000 Range Rover, specially fitted for the 7’1″ basketball legend, has been reported missing, according to Page Six. Insiders suspect the theft occurred after a car transport company’s systems were hacked.
The company that was customizing the vehicle is now offering a reward for any information that leads to its recovery.
O’Neal’s new Range Rover was reportedly stolen en route to Louisiana for customization by Effortless Motors. The customization work was expected to boost the car’s value to approximately $300,000.

Effortless Motors had arranged for the vehicle to be shipped from Atlanta. However, after being picked up on Monday, it never reached its destination. Upon contacting the moving company, Effortless Motors discovered the car had gone missing during transit.
Authorities suspect a hacker attack on the moving company. It’s believed thieves accessed data regarding the pick-up or drop-off and used this information to divert O’Neal’s vehicle into their possession along the route.
The sheriff’s office told TMZ, “Further inquiries revealed that a tow truck registered to Griffin Wrecker Service LLC, bearing Georgia tag YIW241, was involved in transporting the vehicle to an address in Atlanta. The person believed to have coordinated the tow has not yet been fully identified.”
Effortless is now offering a $10,000 reward.
In May, Miami local news reported the disappearance of a $300,000 Rolls Royce. The owner had shipped it from South Florida to Detroit, but police suspect thieves intercepted the delivery by changing the address and taking possession of the car themselves.
