The sister islands of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman was discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1503. One of the first outstanding things Columbus noticed on the islands when he and his crew sailed past it were large number of sea turtles.

The Grand Cayman Island is popular for its crystal white beaches and other historic icons, however, there are other fun facts about this Caribbean island that you probably did not know. Some of which may come as a surprise to you.
