TDE Manager Responds To Kai Cenat Halftime Show Noise Enhancement Claims

by Sandra Appiah, 10:43pm February 16, 2025,

Despite all the negative headlines following Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, it has emerged as the most-watched halftime show ever.

One such comment came from social media sensation Kai Cenat, who claimed that the NFL amplified the crowd’s noise level for the Halftime show’s live broadcast.

Kai’s revelation is said to have been made while rewatching the show while streaming on Twitch, according to Complex.

He exclaimed:

“Oh my God, they [added] sound effects to the NFL sh*t, oh my f**king God,”. “Right, so right here, there was no sound. I just heard crowd sounds; on my life, right here, there was no sounds. F**k, they add crowd effects? I did not know that. Crowd was making no noise,” he added later. “I’m just being honest. I was there.”

According to the outlet, Drake even liked a social media post echoing Kai Cenat’s claims.

However, a representative of Top Dawg Entertainment is refuting the claims made by Kai Cenat about Kendrick Lamar‘s Super Bowl LIX Halftime Performance.

Hollywood, a manager at TDE, is said to have laughed at the streamer’s critique that the NFL manipulated extra crowd noise during the record-breaking showcase.

Hollywood wrote: “This ni**a MAD MAD cause he didn’t get access to Dot’s suite!!! lol… I was there; that’s what it is!! Lol”

Whether or not the stadium audience screamed the entire performance or remained silent, Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show made history.

Kendrick’s Superbowl Halftime Show performance featured SZA, Mustard, and Samuel L. Jackson and is now the most-watched halftime show of all time, beating out Michael Jackson’s acclaimed halftime show from over 30 years ago.
