Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett has a blunt message for Elon Musk. A reporter asked her that if she had the opportunity to engage with the billionaire and head of Department of Government Efficiency, what would she say. She did not mince words on what she would say.

Standing on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, the Democratic lawmaker fired off a blunt, two-word response: “F— off.”

Crockett’s blunt remark about Musk drew laughter from bystanders, with some applauding her directness, according to PEOPLE.

The 43-year-old Democrat, who has represented part of Dallas in Congress since 2023, has been a vocal critic of President Donald Trump’s administration, particularly the federal firings influenced by Musk.

Before her time on Capitol Hill, Crockett served as a Texas state representative and built her career as a public defender and civil rights attorney.

Musk, in an unofficial White House advisory role, has been leading efforts to cut the federal workforce under President Trump’s administration.

The billionaire Tesla and SpaceX CEO has sparked controversy since Trump’s inauguration, particularly after making a one-armed salute resembling a Nazi gesture—an allegation he quickly denied.
