It appears Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert have finalized their messy divorce. Per documents obtained by The Jasmine Brand on Monday, the divorce was made official in Fulton County, Georgia. Taylor will retain four of their marital properties worth over $10 million, The Jasmine Brand reported.

The report also said she will keep all of her jewelry and a collection of vehicles and will continue to have 100% ownership of her companies, Taylormade and Auntie’s. Shumpert was ordered to make a one-time seven-figure payment to Taylor, along with $8,000 per month in child support. The former New York Knicks player will also have to cover private school fees for their two daughters. He will however keep his Miami condo and residencies in South Georgia and Decatur as well as all of his Shumpert Shump investments.

Taylor and the former New York Knicks star made court appearances last Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday to resolve issues they had been at odds over. The judge subsequently instructed them to write everything down and provide a final divorce judgment so he could append his signature.

As previously reported by Face2Face Africa, Taylor and Shumpert tied the knot in 2016, and they share two daughters –  Rue, 3, and Junie, 8. Following their separation, Taylor initially claimed she and Shumpert remained best friends. Taylor in a September 2023 Instagram post initially downplayed any tension between her and Shumpert after she filed for divorce in January of that year.

But their divorce proceedings later got messy as the K.T.S.E. singer in a filing claimed that Shumpert “consistently fails to properly care for” their children, PEOPLE reported. She also claimed that Shumpert had failed to feed their daughters “despite being in the [marital residence] with the minor children.” She further alleged that Shumpert had been “smoking marijuana and being under the influence while caring for the minor children.”

Taylor also cited an incident where Shumpert allegedly put their daughters “in a rideshare in Chicago, which resulted in the minor children being dropped off at the United Center in general population while he utilized the services of a private driver.”

“Respondent consistently demonstrates a clear disregard for the safety of the minor children,” the filing stated. Besides the aforementioned allegations, the former couple had also been at odds over money in their joint accounts.
