Blaylock Van LLC.
Blaylock is Wall Street’s oldest continuously operating African American investment banking firm. In 2007, Blaylock was formed through the merger of Blaylock & Co., an investment bank founded in 1993 by Ronald E. Blaylock, and Robert Van Securities, a financial services company founded in 1991 by Eric V. Standifer. Blaylock Van LLC recently celebrated its 30 years of excellence and experience in the financial industry.
Blaylock Van LLC is among the few Black-owned investment banks that have proved that Black-owned financial firms can lead huge bond deals. Black News reported recently that Blaylock Van LLC was among the four Black-owned financial firms to syndicate CITI’S $2.5 billion bond issuance. Blaylock Van LLC was also one of five minority-owned underwriting managers to complete a $14 billion new issue debt transaction with Apple.
