These 5 Nigerians are touted as the rising global stars under 30

Iyore Olaye — Forbes

Iyore Olaye

The 23-year-old is lead product development engineer at Walker and Company, the tech company creating beauty products for people of colour, including men’s grooming brand Bevel and haircare line FORM. She leads R&D and is known for strong technical abilities and marketing talent. Olaye is an advocate for women and minorities in Science Technology Engineering and Math (S.T.E.M.) and founded the Iyore Noelle Olaye Scholarship Award to support students during their first collegiate year. Olaye caught the attention of many when her story of being the only African American woman to receive a B.S. degree in the Cornell University Chemical Engineering Class of 2016 broke. Olaye received a B.S. in chemical and biomolecular engineering from Cornell University and received a business CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School.
