Ernie Green

Ernie Green was a fullback with the Cleveland Browns from 1962 to 1968. He discovered a lump in his chest in 2005. He was told not to worry by a doctor, due to the rarity of male breast cancer.

Not convinced by the doctor’s indifference to the lump, Green decided to get a second opinion. That was when a mammogram and biopsy revealed he indeed had cancer.
