The long walk home

A classic movie by all standards, The Long Walk Home is an American drama film starring Whoopi Goldberg. The movie details the story of the Montgomery bus boycott which was a political and social campaign against discrimination and racial segregation.

Staged in Alabama, Goldberg played the role of Rosa Parks who was arrested for refusing to give up her seat to a white person on December 20, 1956.
