Chelsi Smith
Chelsi Smith was the first and only Texan to wear the Miss Universe crown.
She was 22 attending San Jacinto College when she won the Miss Universe title in 1995.

Smith was declared the winner of the competition in Namibia beating off challenges from over 81 other contestants.
Before winning the Miss Universe she snapped the Miss USA title in that same year.
She died at the age of 45.
