Jiare Schneider, a 31-year-old TikTok creator known on the platform as @Big_Homie_TooTall, has been found dead in a wooded area in Jonesboro, Georgia, 10 days after he was reported missing.

According to the Clayton County Police Department, Schneider’s family discovered his body inside a car in a densely wooded area off Brown Road around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26.

Clayton County Police spokesperson Lt. Ricky Porter confirmed that Schneider had been missing from Forest Park since November 15.

“Our officers received a call from friends and family of Jiare Schneider,” Porter said, as per FOX 5 Atlanta.

Family friend Germequa Bell recounted the search efforts and said: “This morning, a group of us gathered, and we came out here, and we went to the woods … and there he was. We knew when he disappeared that something was up.”

Schneider’s body was found in a silver Toyota 4Runner that matched the description of the vehicle he borrowed from a friend on the night he disappeared.

Preliminary investigations suggested that the car had travelled at high speed westbound across Brown Road before it crashed into a tree in an overgrown area.

“We did find the vehicle deep in the woods, which indicates there was a fast speed approaching the intersection,” Porter said.

Schneider’s loved ones revealed that the crash site was near a “content house” they believe the TikTok star had visited before he died.

Bell explained that previous searches they made were hindered by construction nearby, and Schneider’s cellphone location proved useful as its data eventually led family members to the area.

Schneider was a father to a young son diagnosed with DiGeorge syndrome, which is a chromosomal disorder that affects multiple body systems.

“His son, that’s all we can think about … his son,” Bell said about the difficult situation and how the young boy would take the news.

Jasnique Oliver, Schneider’s sister, stated that the news came out strange, as he would not go out without contacting his son. “He hadn’t called his son, and that’s not like him,” she told FOX 5 Atlanta.

The Forest Park Police Department initially shared news of Schneider’s disappearance on November 25 and asked the public for assistance in finding him.

For now, Police are yet to disclose the cause of Schneider’s death as the incident remains under investigation.
