It was released on September 16, 1997, through LaFace Records and mainly consisted of R&B music with a bit of hip hop. Featuring stars like Jay-Z, Usher, Monica, and Earth, Wind and Fire, the soundtrack was certified double platinum, peaking at number four on the Billboard 200.
