Yeelen is an adventurous African movie written and directed by Malian director Souleymane Cissé. The movie is a classic watched by several Africans despite being filmed in the Bambara and Fula languages.
Also referred to as Brightness, the award-winning movie, follows the life of Nianankoro and his father a black magician who tries to kill his own son after the revelation that his son will be the cause of his death.
