German Corea, the heartbroken father of 16-year-old Nashville student Josselin Corea Escalante, who was fatally shot by a classmate described as a self-loathing incel, has expressed his anguish.
Speaking to WTVF in Spanish, he shared his pain, saying, “Every day I told her how much I loved her.”
Corea said he never imagined that Wednesday morning would be the last time he saw his soccer-loving daughter, whom he affectionately called “daddy’s little girl.”
“It’s not fair,” he said, sniffing away tears.
Escalante, 16, was shot multiple times by 17-year-old ROTC cadet Solomon Henderson in the cafeteria at Antioch High School before he fatally shot himself.
Henderson also wounded another girl and reportedly praised Adolf Hitler in his writings, describing himself as an incel and a “worthless subhuman.”

Escalante’s aunt described her as a hardworking student, a loving older sister, and a soccer player who shared a close bond with her father. Police are investigating whether Escalante was specifically targeted.
“She was a very calm girl and well-behaved,” Maria Corea said. “She had good grades in school. She was a girl who loved her parents and all her family.”
Investigators are examining Henderson’s troubling online activity, which included racial and antisemitic content.
According to social media posts obtained by WTVT, Henderson wrote that he was “ashamed to be Black.”
“What happens on the incel forums … is that people of color are told the only reason they’re incels is because of their color and so it pushes them toward other extreme ideology that he apparently took on,” ADL representative Carla Hill told The Post.
Henderson’s online activity included antisemitic content, neo-Nazi propaganda from the Goyim Defense League, and praise for Adolf Hitler.
According to The Tennessean, his writings opposed “race-mixing” and expressed a desire for “revenge” on society.
He also praised mass shooters and shared images of his high school layout, guns, and ammunition. He partially livestreamed the shooting on the Australian platform Kick, which has since apologized.
