Table Mountain and Cape Town, South Africa
Now one of the seven wonders of nature, Table Mountain is stunning. This 600-year-old canvas painting offers a great view of the city of Cape Town and is an icon on African soil. Its popular cable car takes millions of people to its peak, which is 1,086 meters above sea level. Its flora and fauna are richly diverse, and some of them are hosted at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Penguins, which are a rare sight in Africa, can be seen at the Boulders Penguin Colony.
Nestled between the sea and a picturesque range of mountains, is Cape Town. This town of amazing beaches and wondrous monuments is on the southwest coast of South Africa. It is at its prime in December’s hot weather. Its warm waters, sandy beaches, and golf courses are tons of fun for families. It is oft referred to as the Mother City for its very important role in shaping South Africa as a nation.
The chalets of Muizenberg, outstanding street art, and bright facades of the Bo-Kaap tell of the city’s magnificence.
