Tory Lanez, who is presently serving a 10-year term for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2022, has revealed details about his activities while in prison.

In an interview with Kick streamer Adin Ross on Sunday, Lanez revealed that he is using his prison sentence to further his education. He said he recently enrolled in college courses and received his high school diploma.

“I’m great. I know that a lot of people sometimes when they hear prison or they hear somebody’s down, they think n*****’s in the corner somewhere bawling his eyes out,” he said.

The Canadian rapper said he’s in a good place mentally and is concentrating on his personal development. Along with working out and being in shape, Lanez underlined his commitment to his education, adding, “A n**** just graduated high school and enrolled in college. Never thought I’d do that. But I’m taking this moment and I’m taking advantage over everything that’s good. I’m a f***** high school dropout that just graduated high school. That s*** matters to me. So, it’s the small things that just have me feeling good about life right now.”

The 32-year-old recently released his debut music project from jail, titled Prison Tapes, according to Hot97.

“It’s over. I’ve cracked the f***** code, man,” he declared, alerting all of his fans that he had discovered a means for creating studio-quality music from prison and would be releasing new tunes monthly. “This means that not even these prison walls can stop me from dropping new music. It’s crazy!”

The “Say It” singer revealed that he is certain he will be released shortly, even though he was earlier refused a retrial for lack of evidence.

Lanez stated, “I know that my time is coming. I don’t feel like I’m gonna be in here for a long time. I’m very spiritual, very in tune with God. I feel like the conversations that me and God have been having, He’s been letting me know in so many different ways that I’m about to get out of here.”
