Kanye West has apologized to the Jewish community for making anti-Semitic statements before the release of his Vultures album.
The 46-year-old award-winning American rapper now known as Ye, took to social media on Tuesday, December 26 to express his remorse over sentiments made in a Hebrew statement.
“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions. It was not my intention to offend or demean, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused. I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity,” Ye posted on Instagram.

After receiving backlash for wearing a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt to Paris Fashion Week in October 2022, the rapper tweeted that he was going to go “death con 3” on Jews. This triggered a series of hate-filled interviews, which reached an even more alarming level when he appeared on Alex Jones’s InfoWars and claimed, “I see good things about Hitler,” among other vile remarks.
The Vultures album release date has been pushed back multiple times in recent weeks. Ye’s representatives told Billboard in late December that the album will now be released on January 12. It was initially set to be released on New Year’s Eve (December 31).
